Kapila Gowshala

Under the initiative of Vishwakarma Seva Foundation (VSF), the project of building Gowshala started on 23rd February 2023 with Bhoomipuja and the construction of Kapila Gowshala started at Mulshi, Jamgaon, after many helping hands came forward. Mr. Yashwantrao Malusare Kutumbiya, a respectable resident of Jamgaon and a prominent farmer, gave his five acres of land for this project. Gravel and dabber required for construction were provided by Tata Power Company located in the same area. The construction of cowshed has picked up pace and on Akshaya Tritiya (April 22) the cows will get their rightful home. We are doing this project to save soil, food security for future generations and conservation of native cows. Many years have passed since the ploughs and livestock of the village were gone. In the mean time, the soil became dead due to the bombardment of tractors and chemical fertilizers. To restore the quality of soil is not possible for a single farmer who is divided according to the nuclear family system. But if the whole village comes together for that, it can be done. To make this happen, VSF has taken the initiative to undertake this pilot project. We are doing 40 acres of organic farms from the said Gowshala and try to ensure that the produce meets the fair market price.
We done inauguration of Gowshala on 22 April 2023.
